Innovations Centre "Engineering Materials"

Engineering materials have a virtually unlimited potential. In aviation and aerospace, the automotive industry as well as mechanical and plant engineering, they are innovations drivers. The "Innovations Center for Engineering Materials" reflects the entire spectrum of materials competence. Here, highly specialized enterprises team up with leading research institutes to present their products and solutions for materials-saving, energy-efficient applications.

In 2010 a major focus will be on lightweight construction solutions. The "Industrial Supply" trade fair will serve as the new networking hub for lightweight construction technologies at HANNOVER MESSSE. Consequently, in addition to its long-running presence in Hall 5, the Innovations Center for Engineering Materials will also be participating the "Lightweight Construction" trade fair in Hall 6, where speakers at the Materials Forum will present the latest trends and options in lightweight construction.
