Intelligent Lightweight Construction Materials Forum

Lightweight construction is currently the most intelligent way to optimize efficiency on a sustainable basis. Combined with new design and manufacturing technologies, today's high-tech "lightweight" materials - such as the polycarbonates and long glass fiber reinforced polyamides used to replace glass and metal respectively - fulfill all the relevant requirements in terms of material and energy efficiency. As a result, they are attracting a great deal of global interest on an entrepreneurial and ecological level.

That's why the Materials Forum and associated Materials Information event are this year focusing on practical solutions for intelligent lightweight construction. Experts from the business and scientific communities will be presenting pioneering innovations from the fields of ceramics, light metals, steel, lightweight structures and designs, and non-metallic composites alongside the relevant design features and technologies. And with a different theme on each day of the fair, the Intelligent Lightweight Construction Materials Forum is a must for anyone keen to explore innovative technology transfer between science, suppliers and manufacturers.
