Housed on more than 850 square meters (9,150 sq.ft) of floor space in Hall 13 at HANNOVER MESSE 2012, "Smart Grids - E-ENERGY" will celebrate its third anniversary as key catalyst in the energy mix of the future. "Smart Grids - E-Energy" is a highly focused display area that analyzes the energy sector in its entirety, from generation to consumption. Large sections of Germany’s national grid are outmoded and require extensive modernization and upgrades in order to be able to carry the planned increase in renewable energy volumes.
