What’s new/innovative about it?

UR shows how versatile, swiftly integrated components are allowing companies to successfully meet challenges, such as a growing variety of products and increasingly flexible batch sizes. Even complex applications can be automated easily thanks to the appropriate UR+ components (e.g. grippers from Schunk and Dahl, a laser from Telesys or a force-torque sensor from OptoForce). Brand new in the UR+ range and also on display will be a Plug-and-Produce camera from Sensopart and an electric gripper from Dahl designed especially for collaborative applications. Both feature easy integration.

Does the product have a USP?

Components available in UR+, whether they are hardware or software, can be connected via Plug&Play with the collaborating robots of Universal Robots. The programming effort is reduced to a minimum.

Can these benefits be expressed in numbers?

The fastest ROI with UR solutions was measured with the customer Task Force Tips and it only took 34 days until the savings resulted in a return on their investment.

In what way does the product contribute to integrated processes and/or Industry 4.0?

With Cobots from Universal Robots even small and mid-sized companies can automate their production lines. End effectors, component parts and additional software can be integrated directly into the application via the roboter controller without special programming. Industry 4.0 is no longer reserved for large corporations.

To what extent does the product reflect the idea of integration (of employees, external business partners, processes)?

Thanks to their simple operability and intuitive programming, UR robots and their components can also be moved quickly from one application to another. The configuration is so easy that it also pays off for small tasks.
