"Meet 50 countries on 10 square meters" was the slogan InterGest® Worldwide used to advertise its services at HANNOVER MESSE 2016. InterGest® Worldwide used the opportunity at the Investment Lounge of the foreign trade platform Global Business & Markets to "make a presentation at the Business Forum and hold a workshop," explains Natalie Kutschera, Managing Director, InterGest Austria GmbH.
According to Kutschera the main objective of InterGest's appearance in Hall 3 was to "increase our visibility, connect with prospective customers, and ultimately acquire new clients." The service provider accompanies businesses on their journey into foreign markets and helps them set up their own subsidiaries. At the Investment Lounge, InterGest demonstrated to SMEs how they can make their foreign operations more effective and take advantage of tax conditions and legalities in their target markets. A focus was placed on the trade show’s Partner Country, the USA.
"Press relations and social media marketing are keys to success although they are difficult to measure," says Natalie Kutschera regarding the company’s trade show preparations. "On the other hand, our figures show that direct mailings and telemarketing range from successful to very successful." In terms of lead generation and new business, the company manager draws a positive conclusion. The company's presence was good for its brand image "since HANNOVER MESSE is highly respected around the world." To that effect, participation in the lounge is also "beneficial because one meets local companies and we can provide support to German SMEs," says Kutschera. In terms of the company's positioning in the competitive environment of her sector, she sees the trade show as helpful, "especially when one learns that the competition is there. It's easy to keep an eye on them from the Investment Lounge."
