Description

In 2013 KMWE started 3DP. 3D printing or additive manufacturing is a process of making a three-dimensional solid object of virtually any shape from a digital model. This is achieved by using an additive process, where successive layers of material are laid down in different shapes in different ways. This can be in plastics and metals.Within AddFab KMWE together with partners NTS Group and Machinefabriek de Valk will industrialise Metal Additive Manufacturing within its facilities. To further integrate Additive Manufacturing in the Industrial Ecosystem AddFab will be situated on the new Brainport Industry Campus.

Footwear / AddFactor
Within a European project called AddFactor KMWE developed together with TNO an innovative fast production technology and district machine for customized footwear insoles manufacturing.
