Description

The first general approval for Concrete structures reinforcedwith CFRP-laminates was published in 1997. Since this first steps, enormous Experiences are collected with this lightweight amplification method. Today CFRP is state of the art and a recognized Technology. Carbon applications are peppered with later developments in Exterior Reinforced Composite (ERB), Slotted Applications (NSM), Enclosure in Bending, wrapping and shear reinforcement fields. CF grids are used for Shotcrete (TRC).

From 2015 the new DAfStb RiLi with the new General Approvals are used for design, application and material Specifications (Eurocode 2).

Since the late 90s, a special application has been developed, CFRP for pre-stressed Applications (PT). Currently, the design is based on individual cases Approval (ZiE), for bridge reinforcement ETAG 013 is the most important Design Foundation.

This report will present the history and current developments and projects after general approval and individual licenses (ZiE).
