Scope and use of a security analysis to protect industrial control systems against cyber attacks
So far no information materials were provided for this event. Please contact the organizer directly for further information.
In order to enable auditors to assess the protection level of industrial control systems located in medium sized enterprises, institutes and authorities against attacks from the cyberspace, an assessment guide similar to the Cyber Security Check (CSC), which was developed in 2014 in close cooperation with the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), will be created by the Cyber Security Expert Group of ISACA Germany Chapter e.V. This CSC for industrial control systems will allow to determine the exposure to threats in an established, structured, reproducible and scaleable way. In addition, the guide will show measures that are appropriate to mitigate the security weaknesses. Recent security standards like the IEC 62443 series have been considered. Completion of a position paper is planned for HMI 2017.
