Sharing Data, Sharing IP, Sharing HR - Sharing Success? Digitalisation created new eco systems and new forms of collaboration. Platform based "as a service models", "open innovation" as a new concept for R&D and within the supply chain, 3D printing and additive manufacturing as well as crowd sourcing and new ways of agile working are shaping the so-called Sharing Economy. Well established companies face legal challenges of transformation; Tech start-ups play an ever so important rolerole. The legal framework at EU level is also changing: EU Trade-Secret-Directive, EU regulation on e-privacy and the EU Commission has initiated a discussion with industry stakeholders on a legal framework for a "European Data Economy".
