Description

By 2020 23% of the UK Car Park will be connected. In the connected car space, motor manufacturers around the world are asking 'what can we do with all the data we're collecting? How can we use it to help drivers? How can we commercialise that data?'
wejo, a UK based company, is a pioneering provider of location-based 'smart driving' services. wejo wants to revolutionise the automotive industry using real-time big data, telematics and mobile technology. Their business is a data platform, managing and leveraging all of that data streaming from vehicles, in near real-time.
Through this presentation, you will learn how wejo has built an extensible, scalable and secure modern data architecture using the latest Big Data technologies such as Apache Kafka to integrate big data streams and send targeted notifications to app users and real-time insights to businesses.
