The presentation will present the motivation, the architecture, the approach and the status of the "Smart Factory Web" as recognized as a testbed of the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC). Based upon the international standards OPC UA (how to communicate) and AutomationML (what to communicate) which are both candidate standards of Industrie 4.0, this testbed also contributes to the cooperation between the Industrie 4.0 and the IIC community as a cross-factory approach. It also includes a presentation of the current Smart Factory Web portal as it is demonstrated at the Fraunhofer IOSB booth in hall 2. As this testbed is an example of how services may have disruptive effects on business levels, the presentation stresses the decisive role of service engineering and open architectures for Industrial IoT applications.
