Description

Undesirable, not fully cleaned-off substances on parts surfaces can lead to disturbances, e.g. in coating or joining process or even cause unpredictable product failure in final applications.
For secure evaluation and effective optimization of cleaning procedures in industrial processes, a reliable measurement of parts cleanliness is a basic requirement.
The cleanliness measuring device VIDAM® detects residual dirt on parts - fully-automatically, quickly and non-destructively. Filmic contamination on the entire parts surface is quantitatively determined (in grams per surface area) as well as clearly identified. This enables reliable testing of cleanliness for components and complete assemblies of any geometry directly integrated in the parts production process, which ensures the quality and, subsequently, the safety of entire process chains.
