Description

The FVA-Workbench supports the engineer with user-friendly and rapid modelling of complex gear train systems. In the calculation, analytical models of machine elements may be combined with FEM structures which are solved in a highly performant manner. FEM structures can either be meshed automatically from CAD bodies or be imported from external FEM meshes. The design engineer obtains precise results on load and pressure distribution, load capacity, life time and deformation behaviour of the modeled system. The functionality is demonstrated by means of a multi-stage wind power gearbox. In particular, the influence of a FE housing and a FE planet carrier is discussed. You can find out more about the FVA-Workbench at our stand.
