Description

MAN Diesel & Turbo SE gas engines are highly efficient and flexible elements for generating electricity and heat. The new MAN modular Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant design enables power plants between 7 MW and more than 200 MW at short realization time and moderate price level. The engines can retrieve 100% of the required power within very short time, have a very good partial load behavior and, in CHP mode, achieve overall efficiency of more than 95%. These characteristics allow application even in peak load power plants and the primary and secondary energy market to cover short-term load peaks.
