HANNOVER MESSE 2018,
23 - 27 April
Germany and Mexico have become important trade partners in recent years. While companies in both countries seek to deepen their business relationships and further integrate into global value chains, they face divergent frameworks of technical provision. Well-functioning national quality infrastructures and coherent technical regulation are, however, key determinants of trade. Against this background, this panel discussion seeks to shed light on current challenges for bilateral trade and discuss international technical harmonization from the perspective of policy makers, experts and Mexican and German companies. The event is jointly organized by the Global Project Quality Infrastructure (GPQI), a BMWi initiative, and the Lateinamerika Verein e.V. (LAV).
