Description

Current ERP systems are placing more and more demands on users. Extensive functionalities reduce flexibility and create new dependencies within companies. The operation of certain solutions can cause problems in connection with Industrie 4.0 projects. Increasingly, users in all sectors are adopting special solutions - for example, MES applications which permit the step-by-step implementation of the Industrie 4.0 concept. Will the next steps be possible without MES? What are the current trends in MES? Will ERP functions be realized increasingly in shop-floor systems?
