In the itŽs OWL cluster - Intelligent Technical Systems OstWestfalenLippe, companies, research facilities and the IG Metall cooperate in developing approaches and recommendations for the working life of the future. With the pilot project from Imperial-Werke - a Miele Group company - , a guideline for the implementation of assistance systems for the production of steam cookers is being developed. The increasing number of variants increases the employees' requirements during the assembly. Against this background, design principles and guidelines for the implementation of digital assistance systems are being developed. Involved are the management, the work council, the employees and the union. The guideline will be used as basis for the introduction of further assistance systems. In the talk, results and impacts of the project will be displayed and recommendations for companies in the work 4.0 context will be given.
