Description

MANTIS aims to provide a proactive maintenance service platform architecture based on Cyber Physical Systems that allows to estimate future performance, to predict and prevent imminent failures and to schedule proactive maintenance. Physical systems are monitored by a range of intelligent sensors, resulting in massive amounts of data that characterize the usage, operational condition and other physical properties. Decision making functions are performed at different levels, ranging from local nodes to cloud-based platforms that execute distributed processing and analytics algorithms for global decision making.
MANTIS will be delivered publicly as a reference architecture, after being validated in 4 application scenarios, such as production assets, vehicles, energy, and health equipment maintenance. This roundtable will discuss how the reference architecture is being created, with the cooperation of universities, research centers, and industrial companies in a bottom-up-bottom approach
