Description

Tailor-made materials, cost-effective, with high quality and short innovation cycles will be required in the Industry 4.0 enviroment. The Material DataSpace was developed as a basis for this material development within Industry 4.0 and supplies the digital twin for the processing. Lightweight structures made from fiber reinforced composites are increasingly entering the production processes. In order to be able to implement the step towards large-scale industrial production, the corresponding FRC technologies have to be made industrial-compatible. The unresolved core problem is the continuous acquisition, structuring and interpretation of materials, process and workpiece data. The MDS is part of the solution approach. The current state of development is presented in the lecture.
