Description

While new collaborative robots enter the industrial market, few people realize how to deploy these systems best. How should we deal with safety, who is in the lead of the process, the robot or people with the skills. What requirements should we pose on these cobots to do something usefull in a production environment. Are robots replacing humans?

These questions and a few more will be addressed in this lecture. The aim is to trigger management to focus on the right aspects and to provide comfort to those involved in manufacturing how to deal with the opportunities of cobots.
