Description

The EU funded project OPENiSME supports innovations of small and medium enterprises (SME) through the ideXlab open innovation platform. The ideXlab platform is looking for experts all over the world to collaborate on technology projects with SMEs. As an intelligent semantic search engine, ideXlab searches globally in databases with scientific or technological publications or in patent databases. After a successful identification of experts, tools support communication with the experts and the communication process is accompanied by the tools on the platform.

The presentation describes the benefits of open innovation platforms to SMEs and explains the open innovation platform ideXlab with examples.
