Description

The RAMI 4.0 combines the essential elements of Industrie 4.0 in a three-dimensional layer model.
For each intersection point, security requirements are first derived from the risk analysis and must be mitigated with corresponding functionalities of the involved Industrie 4.0 components.
The asset administration shell (AAS) represents the interface of the industrie 4.0 component to the asset and must ensure the security of the available information. The AAS interacts with many opposites (other VS, IT systems, operators, manufacturers, operators, etc.).
The security requirements for the AAS have been determined using a use case with exemplary process steps. The inherent security features identified are intended to protect the information in the AAS and to allow the valid access to the asset.
