Semantic modells for application scenarios - combining results of Plattform Industrie 40 AG1 and AG2
So far no information materials were provided for this event. Please contact the organizer directly for further information.
The term Industry 4.0 is currently concretized through the definition of application scenarios. All these have in common that Industry 4.0 components exchange information about objects relevant to value creation. This requires a common semantics of the communication partners. All involved entities must "speak the same language". The publicly funded project "SemAnz40 - Semantic Alliance for Industry 4.0" therefore aims at providing a suitable syntactic and semantic foundation for various application scenarios. The presentation shows how existing standards for the structuring of information (AutomationML) and the description with properties (eCl@ss) in combination with other standards can form this foundation for communication. This illustrates how the standardization efforts regarding the asset administration shell of the Industry 4.0 component (Plattform Industrie 4.0 - AG 1) correlate with the application scenarios for explaining Industry 4.0 (Plattform Industrie 4.0 - AG 2).
