Description

Robotic technologies are experiencing a new golden age, fueled by smart components and artificial intelligence. New applications are being investigated, where the interaction with humans plays a major role. These call for new means of investigation and control. Interactive simulation can be used as a means of risk assessment and ergonomic optimization. Force-feedback is a major component, as it provides direct manual interaction with the simulation. In some applications, it is even part of the robot control system. 

In this talk, we present the fundamentals of interactive simulation and force-feedback and show practical examples of use.
