HANNOVER MESSE 2018,

The Future of Transatlantic Commerce - Creating Opportunities and Confronting Challenges
In 2016, the United States was the Hannover Messe's Partner Country for the first time in the history of the fair. More than 450 U.S. exhibitors came to Hannover. In order to maintain the momentum and continue a close transatlantic dialogue, the Federation of German Industries (BDI) is hosting the Transatlantic Forum in cooperation with the Deutsche Messe AG on April 26, 2017. Industry representatives from both sides of the Atlantic will be discussing "The Future of Transatlantic Commerce - Creating Opportunities and Confronting Challenges". In addition, Matthias Machnig, State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, and Kenneth Hyatt, Acting Under Secretary for International Trade at the U.S. Department of Commerce, have agreed to give keynote speeches.
