The trilateral cooperation between France, Germany and Italy, along with the European Commission, produces common works related to digitizing manufacturing Industry. This joint effort between Alliance Industrie du Futur, Plattform Industrie 4.0 and Piano Industria 4.0 agreed to cooperate during a high-level conference in March 2017 in Berlin and started their trilateral cooperation in June 2017 in Torino. The joint paper published at HMI by the trilateral WG1 (standardization work group) dives into the structure of the administration shell and proposes a common vocabulary to express functions in new industrial products.
