Case Study Siemens Campus Erlangen
The talk illustrates how CAD and BIM data from the planning of buildings can be re-used in an easy and sustainable way to create value-adding apps. This is shown based on a case study of SIEMENS AG Real Estate.
The goal is to communicate the project as real, informative and impressive as possible by innovative visualization (3D, augmented & virtual reality).
The result is the Siemens Campus Erlangen Digital App: a user-friendly, digital exposé as a mobile application for all smartphone and tablet users - independent of platform and operating system. A showcase with "Wow" effect. The basis for the app are completely digital planning documents (BIM), which are automatically converted and conmpressed by the VUFRAME® software platform and inserted via an online editor (VUFRAME® CMS) in apps and views.
