In 2016, the Dutch Brabant Development Agency (BOM) organized the first edition of the Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR) market research: Hype or serious business?
The survey showed that VR / AR businesses miss international opportunities by focusing too much on content rather than on platforms. In his presentation Robbert Jan will address examples of companies who amended their business case because of the outcomes of this survey. You can also visit companies at HANNOVER MESSE to experience AR/VR for yourself. In 2017, this survey has been repeated in collaboration with Oost NV, iTanks, Brainport Industries, Innovation Quarter, VRBase, VR Days Europe and Mikrocentrum. Are the assumptions and predictions made in 2016 valid or not?
