RFID, a well-known technology, is the key to giving a digital identity to a physical object. This digital identity, combined with a well performing database and web-based visualisation, leads to direct and usable added value for production.
The added value, and how simply it can be made available, is illustrated in the example of chocolate production.
Using this, it is possible to go into details on the technical basics of the data capturing system.
Furthermore, the oppertunities and possibilities can be shown that arise when multiple data sources are available for correlation.
Once the talk is complete, the listener should have a good idea of what is already possible today, and should recognise the importance partnerships and the value of data.
