More and more complex products and production methods lead to a change in work organization and the employees' qualification profiles. In the technology network it's OWL - Intelligent Technical Systems OstWestfalenLippe, companies, research facilities and the IG Metall cooperate in developing approaches and recommendations for the working life of the future. In a case study with five pilot companies, itŽs all about analyzing the challenges of a digitalized working world and employee-friendly exhausting the companies' potential. The effort is directed towards establishing a balance between technical possibilities, organization and impacts on the employees. Companies involved are Hettich, Miele, Phoenix Contact, Weidmüller and Diebold Nixdorf. The talk will provide exemplary approaches and experiences as well as give practical advice to companies.
