Flexible production automation leads to increased revenue. Optimised processes determine a company's future, which is reason enough to continuously carry out optimizations and be on the lookout for new opportunities. Jeroen Konings tells how his workflow++ method finds the weak processes and how to make an improvement plan. Also the implementation and optimization of changes will be clarified.
A typical example of flexible automation is the patented D-Bag LCD (Lifting, Cutting, Dumping). A live demonstration of the fully automated bag handling process is given from the booth. A 3D camera locates the bags and the robot empties them. The D-Bag LCD can work 24 hours a day, safely, hygienically, carefully and quickly. Physically demanding and tedious labour can therefore be avoided.
