We are Team FAST, a student team of the Technical University Eindhoven, who have took up the challenge of introducing a revolutionary sustainable fuel; Hydrozine. Team FAST envisions a world with sustainable energy as the standard. Currently the greatest challenge to realize this sustainable world is to the storage of renewable energy. Hydrozine is a fluid and a renewable energy carrier with a high energy density. In this document Team FAST introduces her vision, project and Hydrozine.
Team FAST has built a small scale model named 'Junior' in 2016. Currently Team FAST has set the goal of building the world's first vehicle on Hydrozine: a range extender named 'REX' for a 12 meter city bus. The REX functions completely autonomous and can also be used as a standalone generator, which shows the potential of Hydrozine as energy carrier. In total 35 students are working on chemical, mechanical and electrical engineering, software and marketing to realize this project in July 2017.
