Description

As innovations are of utmost importance, Bosch Engineering has recently begun to explore new ways of promoting innovation. The company involves all employees so that they themselves have a say in which ideas the company invests. In crowdfunding, employees first describe their ideas on a virtual crowdsourcing platform called Oasis, including a cost and capacity estimate. In the second step they are looking for supporters. The management of Bosch Engineering provides all employees with a virtual budget of 500 coins, which they can invest in the ideas of their colleagues. In addition, employees can support the ideas with work performance. Once an innovation idea is fully funded and supported, the project starts. In this way, 31 ideas have been submitted and 19 of them have already been launched.
