The primary focus is the production of presses and die-cutters for processing metals and plastics. Even as early as the 1940s, the product range was expanded with the infinitely variable mechanical drive technology range. After the first subsidiary was formed in Naturns, South Tyrol, in 1971, further branches were established in Switzerland and in England.
Our series production includes the right system for almost all applications, whether it be normal or wide V-belt variable speed drives, single or double pulley drives, spring or cam pulleys, or ready-to-install assembly units that can be supplemented with three-phase AC motors and reduction gear units.
As the leading specialist, BERGES provides top- quality perfected products, and excellent advice on applications prior to purchase.
With the acquisition of "System Becker" asymmetrical variable speed pulley technology in 2003, it is now the specialist in infinitely variable mechanical speed pulley technology.
