The Eastern Cape Development Corporation (ECDC) is a wholly-owned entity of the Eastern Cape provincial Department of Economic Development, Environmental Affairs and Tourism. ECDC is the development finance institution for the promotion of economic growth in the Eastern Cape.

The corporation operates from its head office located in Ocean Terrace, Moore Street, East London, and extends its operational activities through four regional offices in Port Elizabeth, Queenstown, Mthatha and East London.
It also has four satellite offices in King William's Town, Butterworth, Mount Ayliff and Aliwal North.
