FCH Test Center gives the industry within the fuel cell and hydrogen technologies
access to advanced testing and demonstration of components and systems. Besides testing, FCH Test Center offers training and consultancy.
DTU Energy has unique competences in measuring electrochemical impedance
spectroscopy on single cells and stacks of SOFC (solid oxide fuel cells) and SOEC
(electrolysis) FCH Test Center is part of Department of Energy Conversion and Storage at Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Based at DTU Risø Campus, the department has been involved in fuel cell activities since 1987. The research group is internationally acknowledged for the unique competences within testing, characterization and interpretation of results. The department has 250 employees, of which more than 100
are working on fuel cells and electrolysis. Since 2010, the testing and characterization have been offered to industry through FCH Test Center.
