The Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics ITWM supports companies in the development and optimization of products, services, communication and working processes.
The department MDF is dedicated to the development and deployment of new technology for modeling and simulation of usage variability, durability and energy efficiency of vehicles. To enable virtual product development for those attributes, it is key to simulate the complete life of vehicles including their interaction with the rest of the world, i.e. road - vehicle interaction and driver - vehicle interaction.
