NanoLockin is an early-stage startup company developing an instrument for the detection and analysis of nanoparticles in all kinds of products. As a spin-off from the Adolphe Merkle Institute - an institution which specializes on nanomaterials research - the team of NanoLockin has long lasting expertise in the analysis of nanomaterials.
The NanoLockin technology uses light of different wavelength to stimulate nanoparticles. Using lock- in thermography, an ultrasensitive infrared imaging technique, nanoparticles can be detected even in complex environments. Nanoparticle behavior, such as aggregation or dissolution can be monitored.
