TU9 is the alliance of nine leading Institutes of Technology in Germany: RWTH Aachen University, TU Berlin, TU Braunschweig, TU Darmstadt, TU Dresden, Leibniz Universität Hannover, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, TU München, Universität Stuttgart.
In Germany, roughly half of all engineers with university degrees come from TU9 universities, and about 57 percent of the doctorates in engineering are conducted here. The TU9 universities are the first choice for international students and researchers in the STEM subjects. Especially in engineering, TU9 universities are among the leaders in numerous funding rankings. Their research results are excellent.
