Alum-a-Lift is pleased to offer a complete range of stainless steel lifts, carts, and related equipment, spanning our entire product line.

Ergonomic lifts can be configured in full stainless steel for washdown duty with corrosive cleansers, or for use in hazardous environments.  Our standard light-weight aluminum lifts can also be equipped with stainless steel end-effectors for less demanding environments.

Alum-a-Lift is compliant with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) outlined by the US FDA. Stainless steel tooling and end-effectors are offered for any system meant to come in direct contact with drugs or other sanitary materials. Alum-a-Lifts are suitable for rigorous cleaning practices, with constructions available for caustic cleaners and hose-down wash-down (up to IP65.)

Alum-a-Lift’s custom ergonomic lifting devices can be configured to be used in environments containing ignitable concentrations of either dust or gas explosive environment and meet the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EC. Custom lifting devices can be configured with either an EE or an EX rating.

Ergonomic lifts carrying an EX rating are pneumatically-operated and Intrinsically-Safe. EX units are compatible with ATEX Category 2 and can be used in the following hazardous areas:

US NEC 500/IEC Class 1 Div 1 and Class 2 Div 1

US NEC 505 / IEC Zone 1 (Gases / Vapors) and Zone 21 (Dusts)

Lifts carrying an EE rating feature sealed electrical systems and components. EE units are compatible with ATEX Category 3 and can be used in the following hazardous areas:

US NEC 500/IEC Class 1 Div 2 and Class 2 Div 2

US NEC 505 / IEC Zone 2 (Gases / Vapors) and Zone 22 (Dusts)
