Product description

Diseases can be transmitted due to indirect contact between many people via door knobs and handles. A copper coating with a layer thickness of at least 100 µm allows a permanent, antibacterial effect on door handles in daily use. Copper coatings can be applied to polymer or metal handles with the environmental friendly, binder free cold atmospheric pressure plasma fine powder coating. The low temperature coating process developed by the Fraunhofer Application Center is characterized by a high coating thickness deposition of various metals and alloys.
