Product description

CERANOD® plasma ceramic is created in electrolytes, wherein the metal surface is converted into a plasma discharge to form a dense, atomically adherent ceramic layer.
This ceramization forms a homogeneous coating with a definable layer thickness which in case of especially hard ceramic layers is in the range of 10 microns to 200 microns.
CERANOD® medtech surfaces offer outstanding functional properties for alloy base materials such as titanium or aluminum, as well as for stainless steel.
