Product description

The Confovis DUO Vario is a flexible measurement system for 3D surface analysis of a wide range of samples in the automotive industry, in surface processing and in toolmaking and mechanical engineering. The measuring system offers two optical procedures in one measurement system. Roughness measurements, which can be traced back to DIN EN ISO 4287/4288 and DIN EN ISO 13565, can be taken with the ultra-precise confocal measuring technique with a depth resolution of into the single-digit nanometer range. The DUO Vario reliably measures the form and contour with steep flanks using the focus variation. Thanks to its expanded measuring and operating range, it is possible to take non-contact measurements of small samples as well as large and heavy components. The Confovis DUO Vario can be equipped with up to five axes, to ensure even intricate measurements can be carried out in a time-saving manner. A swivel-mounted, motorised workpiece rotation axis can be used as the horizontal and vertical axis.
