It is possible to rule out sources of failure caused by deficient electrical connection by means of the screwless spring connection. Mounting errors such as incorrect torque or contacting screws that are not even tightened are not possible. Different QUADRON®CrossLink device modules of the same category have a compatible electrical and mechanical interface to the QUADRON®CrossLink adapter modules. In this way, it is possible to select areas of application compliant with IEC or UL as well as the appropriate system components at a later point in time. Additional device modules can be fitted to a live busbar system, when reserve section adapter modules are installed. The busbar system remains shock-protected and covered during replacement of the individual device modules.
