Over the last few years there has been an increase in technical requirements for modern hazmat storage systems. In addition to fire protection and groundwater protection, features such as climate control , access control or the possibility of remote monitoring have become increasingly important for the user. CUBE, the new hazmat store from the DENIOS product range, demonstrates how these requirements can be met right now, with a modern room design.
CUBE can be supplied as a single or dual bay container. The user can customise the inner room right from the start. Options include conventional storage racks, the installation of test equipment for lithium-ion batteries or storage for company IT technology. Inside, this new hazmat store has a space-saving construction. The range of optional extras is also versatile. The "Heating Pack" enables frost-free storage of hazardous materials with 2kW finned pipe heating. The "Climate Control Pack" enables storage in a set temperature range, with a 4kW climate control unit in the single bay CUBE or a 7.1 kW option in the dual bay version. For the legally compliant storage of acids and alkalis, the spill pallet in the "Acids/Alkalis Pack" offers additional corrosion protection with an inliner. The "Light Pack" ensures optimal lighting of both the inside and front of the unit and the "Access Control Pack" protects the store from unauthorised access.
The CUBE can be fitted with digital sensors as an option. Three "Sensor Packs" are available to choose from. The basic version of the Sensor Pack gives a standard display which informs the user of the status of the store. The "Fire Protection" Sensor Pack offers a fire early warning system. A visible warning is given by the coloured lights in the LED light strip, alerting the user to a fire in the inner room or a problem in the air extraction equipment. The "Hazardous Substance Storage Pack" monitors the condition of the stored substances.
