Features:COSSAN-X expands technical analyses of all kinds by the dimension of uncertainty quantification with analyses of sensitivities, reliability and risk. This technology can be used to optimise operations, design, maintenance and upgrade of systems and processes with regard to reliability, robustness and resiliency. Application areas cover not only technical products such as engineering structures and vehicles, but they also concern technical facilities, complex systems such as infrastructures, and production processes. High flexibility is ensured through user- defined analysis options. Cluster and grid computing are supported for highest numerical efficiency.Interface:COSSAN-X provides a powerful and intuitive user-friendly interface to perform various analyses without excessive training. It is designed to provide guidance to its users at every step of the analysis. Additionally, a very powerful editor is provided, which makes the manipulation of the input/output files for 3rd party software an easy task. For more advanced users, all the features of the software can be accessed as an object-oriented toolbox inside Matlab®.Applications:COSSAN-X provides highly efficient tools for realistic consideration of uncertainties for quality assurance and for deriving economically optimal solutions across the entire range of technical products, facilities and processes.
