Product description

The software tool IPS Path Planner allows the import of a scene geometry from any CAD system, as a VRML or JT file. Any object in the scene can be defined as a so called planning object, for which IPS will find an efficient path, provided that the object can be freely assembled along the path. Instead of spending much time on a manual planning of an assembly path free of collision, the user saves a considerable amount of time by computing such paths with IPS.

Some special features of the software are automatic calculations of assembly paths, assembly envelopes and clearance analyses.
