KEB COMBIVERT S6 our compact and dynamic servo system is now extended with additional power parts from 4 and 5.5kW with an overload capability of 250 % to suit our DL3 servomotors up to 30 Nm perfectly.S6 series has been developed for high dynamic applications that require excellent speed- and torque control accuracy. Typical applications can be found in packaging and food processing machinery, in textile and tool machinery as well as in special machinery.The next generation interface for fastest communication to the PLC has real time capability and supplies both EtherCAT and CAN as series or ProfiNET and Powerlink as option.All of the devices share a universal design for 3-phase power connections with a voltage range of 200 to 480 VAC at frequencies of 50 or 60 Hz.A unique feature is the integrated EMC filter for Class C1 and C2 according to EN 61800-3 with minimal leakage currents <5 mA and motor cables of up to 50 meters. Therefore the series is predestined for installations with 30 mA residual current breakers. Additional integrated equipment like the GTR7 braking transistor for the connection of external braking resistors, a self-protected brake control for PM brakes and motor temperature sensor connection for PTC or KTY sensors satisfy everyone's requirements. Moreover, two multi-channel encoders and the universal drive software for the control of induction-, synchronous-, IPM and synchronous reluctance motors with or without encoder feedback offer the flexibility to connect and simply control each motor type the application asks for.With reference to functional safety, the basic version S6-K supports STO with performance Level e /SIL3, while the modular version S6-A integrates comprehensive additional certified functional safety like SS1, SS2, SOS, SLS, SLP, SLI, SDI and SSM.KEB COMBIVERT S6 stands for a highly integrated and sophisticated servo system which offers universal and flexible functionality to satisfy the demands of every automation task
