With the announcement of thermal switches of the series TDD, measuring technology products manufacturer, KOBOLD Messring GmbH located at Hofheim, offers an economical and reliable solution for temperature monitoring. A semiconductor serves as the sensor. A choice of two device types is available. The version with a three-figure digital display has a measuring range of -20° C to +120° C. Switching point and hystersis are freely adjustable. An LED displays the switching status.
In each case "40° C" covers the measuring range of the devices, with which the measured values on an eight-segment LED display are displayed in 5° steps. The switching status is displayed by a flashing LED on the display.
With both versions, the operation is made convenient by two keys. A special advantage is the compact and robust housing made of stainless steel. A multitude of applications should benefit, thanks to the conformance with IP 65 protection cat. During the process, the sensor can stand pressures up to 80 bar. The switching outputs are factory-preset and available in PNP or NPN versions.
The device may be chosen for connection-threads 1/2" or 3/4".
Thermal switch of type TDD offers a broad spectrum of applications, where security and reliability are primary concerns. The outstanding performance and the robust design account for the fact that it pays back very fast, while employed in demanding industrial applications.
