The new modular PLC Kuhnke FIO Controller from Kendrion Kuhnke Automation is a powerful and flexible industrial control with motion functionality. A fast hard real-time EtherCAT® Master complete this powerful and flexible industrial controller. CODESYS SoftMotion CNC + Robotics runs on the CPU with typical dynamic kinematics and CNC interpolation. Including OPC UA the very compact PLC is well equipped for Industrie 4.0 and Industrial IoT applications.

This universal industrial controller according to IEC61131 is a modular, powerful PLC with scalable functionality and connectivity. You can use the flexible modularity PLC in many applications because of associated EtherCAT expansion modules from Kuhnke FIO series with a wide range of I/O and safety modules. With additional bus couplers, a decentralized structure with several module groups is easy to implement.

All Kuhnke FIO controllers with long-term available processors supply a high processing speed. Numerous interfaces enable open communication and flexible system architectures. The FIO controller is in combination with the compact Kuhnke FIO series a very cost-effective all-round PLC. In addition to digital and analogue input and output modules, the series includes function modules for a wide range of automation tasks: measure, control and regulation, communication, safety, motion and many more. The modules communicate between each other without restrictions and performance loss. The EtherCAT real-time Ethernet bus system ensures extremely fast, secure data transmission and a flexible topology.
